My Simple Thoughts:

I was really looking forward to this book.  Sadly * shakes head* I was really disappointed.

Addie and Eva are souls born into one body.  One of the souls is recessive and should die off.  (It sounds like a great Science Fiction plot.) Except Eva, the recessive soul, never faded away as she should of.  After many hospital visits Addie was declared cured or normal. Life went on for Addie as she kept Eva a secret.   Being a hybrid is the worse thing to happen to a person in their country. Continually fearing for their lives Addie tried to be a normal girl and student.

However,I found the world to be lacking in creativity.    The characters were cookie cutter and didn’t vary enough to make them unique or interesting.   The plot was also boring in so many spots that I had trouble even staying awake to read this book.

Addie & I were born into the same body, our souls’ ghostly fingers entwined before we gasped our very first breath.”  – page 1
